Inspired by the classic Belgian beers and named after the no-longer-there abbey built in 1151 in Hull: this strong, sweet, complex, thick, rich and full-bodied ale is brewed with pale malts and an assortment of brown sugars giving a notes of caramel, liquorice and banana.

Bottle-conditioned real ale - keep upright, do not chill, open and pour carefully and slowly.
